Aditya Birla March cement dispatches up 7.64%

New Delhi, Apr 2 (UNI) Aditya Birla Group today said its dispatches in March grew by 7.64 per cent to 31.13 lakh metric tonnes.

The group's production in the March stood at 31.65 lakh metric tonnes, registering a growth of 6.17 per cent.

The dispatches grew by 8.46 per cent at 325.63 lakh metric tonnes in April-March vis-a-vis 300.22 lakh metric tonnes in the corresponding period last year.

The cement production for the period increased by 8.33 per cent at 325.19 lakh metric tonnes as against 300.19 lakh metric tonnes during April-March 2006.
