Undertrial prisoner dies in hospital

Kishanganj, April 1 (UNI) An under-trial prisoner Biru Rai, charged under Anti-Dowry Act, died at a government hospital here last night.

He was shifted from jail after he developed serious health problems.

Jail Superintendent Neeraj Pandey said the undertrial prisoner was not well and had suffered bouts of epileptic fits.

The 26-year painter was incarcerated after his wife slapped charges of demanding dowry against him.
