Six structures gutted in fire incidents in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 1 (UNI) Six structures were gutted in different fire incidents across the Kashmir valley, police said today.

A fire damaged the house of Ghulam Qadir Kumar at Kumar Mohalla in Sogam.

A fire broke out in the house of Nazir Ahmad Shadar at posh Raj Bagh here which also engulfed the house of Showkat Ahmad Shah.

The blaze was brought under control by several fire tenders and police. The cause was yet to be ascertained.

A government hut at the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) was damaged in a fire.

A fire broke out in the house of Mohammad Akbar Mir at Khushalsar Zadibal here. The house was damaged in the blaze.

However, no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident.

A house of Bashir Ahmed Wani and Ibrahim Wani was gutted in a fire at Bidehard near Larnoo in Kokernag of Anantnag district. The cause of the fire was being ascertained.
