Six Lankan fishermen nabbed in TN waters

Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu, Apr 1 (UNI) Six Sri Lankan fishermen were nabbed by local fishermen when their boat got stuck in mid-sea and brought to Devanampatinam, near here today.

Police said the Lankan fishermen confessed that they entered the sea from Trincomalee' in Sri Lanka.

There was, however, a suspicion that they belonged to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam(LTTE).

Investigation was underway, police added.
