Security for AP BJP leaders tightened
Hyderabad, Apr 1 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh police have tightened security to state BJP leaders, following intelligence reports that ISI agents could target them.
Police sources said BJP National Secretary N Indrasena Reddy, state President Bandaru Dattatreya and Hyderabad City President and former MLA Prem Singh Rathor were on the ISI hit list.
Intelligence reports said the ISI was planning to attack the leaders and trigger communal violence in the state.
On information that terrorists from Bangladesh were trying to enter the state to instigate violence, the state police has beefed up security and frisking operations at sensitive areas to monitor the movements of the people, the sources added.
