Repoll for Palamu Bypoll begins amid tight security
Ranchi, Apr 1 (UNI) Repolling at the four booths for March 29 by-election to Jharkahnd's Palamu parliamentry seat begun here amid tight security today.
Earlier, polling was cancelled of the four polling booths at Ranka in Garwah district following complains of certain anomalies.
Counting of votes will be held on April 2.
On march 29, an estimated 13.66 lakh electorate exercised their franchise in the Naxal-dominated Palamu bypoll, which was necessitated after Manoj Bhuiyan (RJD) quit his Lok Sabha membership following the cash-for-query scam.
