Remove Mulayam is the only agenda with the opposition, says Mulayam
Auriyya, Apr 1 (UNI) Samajwadi Party President and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav today said the opposition was not concerned about devlopment of the state, but instead followng the agenda of ''Mulayam Hatao'' (Remeve Mulayam) for the coming assembly polls.
The people of UP have understood such designs of the pposition parties, who would receive a drubbing at the polls, Mr Yadav said during his public meetings in Ajitmal and Vidhuna assembly constituencies in favour of SP candidates Madn Gautam and Dhani Ram Verma.
Launching a scathing attack on the BSP, BJP and Congress, he said all the partie had been united against the SP were speaking rubbish to gain cheap popularity'' ahead of the polls. ''The Congress is enganged in its endeavour to send me to jail after CBI probe ,'' he remarked, sarcastically.
The SP supremo said no party, except the Communists had any agenda but to get to power by any means. ''These parties have neither any policy nor a vision for the public welfare,'' he claimed.
Listing the achievements of his government, Mr Yadav claimed his regime had done ''historical work'' for the youth and farmers.
''The amount of work done by us in the last three-and-half yrs is unparalleled by any other earlier regime,'' he maintained.
The CM announced that in event of natural calamity, the farmers would be given Rs two lakh compensation, while efforts would be made to provide 24 hrs power supply, if he returned to power.
