Narmada Ratna Samman

Harda, MP, Apr 1 (UNI) Social activist Ashok Negi has received the Narmada Ratna Samman conferred annually by Nimad region's Narmadiy Brahman Samaj for excellence in social service.

Mr Negi was presented the award, citation and memento yesterday at Khandwa by the Narmada Jayanti Utsav Samiti.

He was selected for his contribution to organising mass marriages, anti-dowry activity and dissemination of education in rural areas, a Samiti release said.
