Mercury rising in MP
Bhopal, Apr 1 (UNI) The mercury soared to 45 degrees Celsius at several places in western Madhya Pradesh's Malwa-Nimad region today.
Badwani, Khandwa and Jhabua hovered around the 45 C mark while the day temperature was 40 C in the state's commercial capital Indore.
Bhopal recorded a maximum of 40.2 C and a minimum of 22.0 C, four notches above normal. Corresponding maximum figures were Hoshangabad and Rajgarh 42 C each, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Satna 40 C each.
