IIM-A launches new PG course

Ahmedabad, Apr 1 (UNI) The Indian Instiute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad today launched a new year long Post Graduate programme in Public Management and Policy here.

IIM-A director Dr Bakul H Dholakia told reporters that the new course is a full-time residential programme for mid-career executives with at least 7 years of work experience.

He said the programme leads to a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Management and Policy, awarded by the Institute.

Mr Dholakia said in the first year, the course would have 33 aspiring students from all over the world, mostly from Asian countries. It would cost about Rs nine lakh.

With the introduction of the new course, the Institute will have five Post Grauduation courses of Masters in Business Administration (MBA) level segments in Management study, he added.
