Bangalore, Apr 1 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather oiffice at 0830 hours today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over Coastal Karnataka; above normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over South Interior Karnataka.

Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.1 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Tuesday morning: Mainly dry weather may prevail over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Mainly dry weather may prevail over all districts of the State.

Local forecast for Bangalore city: Partly cloudy. Maximum temperature would be around 35 degree celsius.
