Druk Air makes emergency landing

Kolkata, Apr 1 (UNI) A Druk Air flight today made an emergency landing at NSCBI airport here following a fire alarm in the cargo hold of the aircraft.

The flight was on its way from Paro in Bhutan to Bangkok via Kolkata.

However, the plane, with 89 passengers, made a safe landing.

The airport authorities said it was a 'false' alarm in the computer panel of the cockpit.

Investigations revealed that there was no fire and the alarm might have caused due to some technical problem in the sensor detector.

After a thorough search the flight made its journey towards the destination.
