Contraband and illicit liquor seized by authorities

Malda, Apr 01 (UNI) In two separate cases of seizures today, contraband, country spirit and illicit liqour were siezed by the regulatory authorities here.

Contraband worth Rs 1 lakh was seized by the RPF from a reserved compartment of the Tista-Torsa Express.

370 litres country spirit and illicit liquor worth Rs 1 lakh were also seized at about 1100 hours today.

However, there has been no arrests so far, sources said.
