CM releases five books in five languages

Jammu, Apr 1 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad released five publications of the Department of the Information and Public Relations at a function here today.

The publications released include ''Kashmir Today'' in English language, ''Yojna'' in Hindi, ''Lo'' in Dogri, ''Aalove'' in Kashmiri and ''Kasheer Urdu-Kashmiri'' bilingual.

While ''Kashmir today'', ''Yojna'', ''Lo'', and ''Kasheer'' are on developmental activities, literature and news and views, ''Aalove'' has been dedicated to Sufi, poetry giving it a new touch to represent heritage of J&K.

The magazine besides also presents profiles of Sofi poets of Kashmir from 18th centaury onwards. It contains popular sufiana Kalam of Habibullah Nowshahri Aubri, Soch Kral, Niama Sahab, Shamas Faqir Rehim Sahab, Ahmad Dar, Rehman Dar, Wahas Khara, Ahmad Rah and Abdul Ahad Zargar.

''Aaloo'' which is a Kashmiri language magazine of the department has been revamped.
