Bush says US would cut farm aid for Doha deal
Camp David (Md), Apr 01: President George W Bush said today the United States would be willing to accept ''substantial'' cuts in farm subsidies to secure a global trade agreement.
But Bush, speaking at a news conference with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, said the United States wanted market access in return.
He also said he believed the Doha round had a good chance of succeeding.
