New Delhi, Apr 1 (UNI) Delhi BJP President Harsh Vardhan today said the MCD elections on April 5 will be a referendum against the Congress Party and Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

Talking to media, he said the Congress has only ''defied and derided'' the general public opinion and oppressed the poor with its ''anti-people policies''. The coming elections would be a ''pay-back'' time for the ruling Party, he added.

''The Congress believes in the principle of Goebles, Publicity Minister of Hitler, that if you tell a lie hundred times it becomes the truth.'' The BJP Pradesh President also called upon Delhiites to positively vote on April 5 as it would decide their fate and help free Delhi from ''corruption, get sufficient power and water and make the State the most beautiful capitals of the world''.
