Agitation against final award of CWDT continues

Mysore, Apr 1 (UNI) Widespread protests and relay hunger strikeS in the Cauvery basin districts of Mandya, Chamarajanagara and Mysore Districts against the final verdict of the Cauvery Water Dispute Tribunal (CWDT) entered the 56th day today.

In Mandya district, the relay hunger strike by the Cauvery Raitha Hitha Rakshna Samithi continued at Silver Jubilee Park and the strike was also observed at Maddur, Pandavapura and Srirangpatna in the district.

The Cauvery Kriya Samithi agitation in Mysore continued at the K R Circle.
