Subedar killed, 2 injured in grenade blast

Jammu, Mar 31 (UNI) An Army Subedar was killed while two other Jawans were injured when a grenade exploded accidentally during the cleaning of explosive devices in an army camp at Naini Dhar in Kalsian area of Nowshera tehsil last night.

Army sources said Subedar Jasbir Singh, who hailed from Amritsar, died on the spot. The Injured jawans have been hospitalised in the army hospital, sources added.

Body of the Subedar, which was shifted to a military hospital late night, has been sent to his native town this morning, official sources said.
