Repoll at 2 polling stations in Rajnandgaon

Rajnandgaon, Mar 31 (UNI) Amid tight security, re-polling is progressing peacefully in two polling stations in Rajnandgaon Lok Sabha constituency in Chhattisgarh, where by-elections were held on March 29.

Official sources said the Election Commission had ordered re-poll at Kaneli in Chowki assembly segement and Manpuri in Virendra Nagar assembly segment.

Re-poll at Kaneli was necessiated after Maoists looted an electronic voting machine while re-polling at Manpuri was ordered after it was found that wrong stickers were pasted on the electronic voting machine.

Counting of votes is scheduled tomorrow.
