PDP Ministers participate in J

Jammu, Mar 31 (UNI) After three consecutive boycotts, all the Ministers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a key coalition partner in the Jammu and Kashmir government, today participated in the Cabinet meeting convened by Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, sources said.

All the PDP Ministers in the state Cabinet, including Agriculture Minister Abdul Aziz Zargar, Finance Minister Tariq Hamid Qarra, Tourism Minister Mohmmad Dilawar Mir and Forest Minister Qazi Mohmmad Afzal, participated in the meeting, party sources told UNI.

The meeting, which was scheduled for this morning, was later postponed till the evening on the request of the Ministers, the sources disclosed.

The PDP Ministers had earlier boycotted the Cabinet meetings on February 28, March 9 and March 18, pressing for their party's demands of troop reduction and revocation of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act in the state.
