Nabidinam celebrated with fervour and gaiety

Kottayam, Mar 31 (UNI) The 1481st anniversary day of Prophet Muhammed Nabi's descent on earth was celebrated with fervour and gaiety in the region today.

Nabidina rally and cultural conferences were the highlights of the celebration.

To mark the commencement of the celebrations Imam V H Ali Maulavi hoisted the flag yesterday at Gandhi Square.

Hundreds of devotees participated in the Nabidina rally taken out under the leadership of Imam coordination Samithy and Juma Aths.

District Panchayat president K P Sugunan flagged off the rally.

Cultural conference was held at Thirunakkara maidan under the presidentship of Imam coordination Samithy Chairman Muhammed Nadir Maulavi.
