has
handeddown

Rigorous
Imprisonment
(RI)
and
slapped
a
fine
of
Rs
one
lakh
to
two
people
charged
with
smuggling
opium.
The
Narcotics
Control
Bureau
officials
caught
the
duo,
Bhanwarlal
Patidar
and
Radheshyam
Gayari
the
residents
of
Chookani
village
near
Manasa,
on
April
24,
2003,
while
carrying
4.65
kg
opium,
the
prosecution
said.
Special
Court
Judge
Anupam
Shrivastava
had
convicted
them
on
Thursday.
