LeT militant killed in encounter in Doda
Jammu, Mar 31 (UNI) An Army patrol gunned down a local Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militant at Bonjwah in Kishtwar tehsil of Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district early today, sources said.
A patrol of 26 Rashtriya Rifles, who came under heavy firing by militants, retaliated, killing an LeT man, Mohammad Ali, resident of Soura Chilli village in Gandoh area, the sources said.
Four INSAS magazines, one grenade and a pouch were recovered from the site of encounter, the sources added.
The encounter was still underway.
