Four killed in wall collapse in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, Mar 31 (UNI) Four people were killed and three others injured when a wall collapsed at a brick-kiln unit in Usilampatti in the southern Madurai district of Tamil Nadu early of today.

Reports received at the police headquarters here said the victims were sleeping in the brick-kiln when a portion of the wall collapsed and fell on them at around 0315 hrs.

Firve service personnel, police and locals took the bodies out of the debris. The injured were admitted to the Usilampatti Government Hospital.

The deceased were identified as Kubendran (30), Vigneshwar (14), Pownraj (17) and Senthil (21).
