Four arrested for looting copper wire worth Rs 45 lakh

Surat, Mar 31 (UNI) Four persons have been arrested for looting copper wire worth Rs 45 lakh from a truck in Kosamba here.

Police here today said four persons - Gnaneshwar Bhagwan Patil, Vijaysingh Amarpal Chauhan, Mohammed Hanif Khan and Rakesh Solanki - were arrested last night with copper wires they had stolen from a truck owned by Sayyid Transport Company when it was parked at Kosamba Railway crossing after attacking the driver and cleaner of the truck.
