Engineering student abducted in AP

Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, Mar 31 (UNI) A final year engineering girl student was kidnapped by unidentified persons in a car near the bus station at Nandyal in this district today.

Police said Sandya, studying in the Apphansa Enginering college, was going to the bus station this morning when she was abducted.

Her parents lodged a complaint with the police after they were informed of the incident by the local people.

The parents suspected the involvement of her nephew in the abduction, the police said, adding they had launched an operation to rescue her.
