Cash, laptop worth Rs 1.65 lakh looted from doctor's home

Surat, Mar 31 (UNI) Miscreants have looted cash and laptop worth Rs 1.65 lakh from the residence of a practicing doctor in Athwalines area here.

The unidentified persons broke into the house of Dr Pradeep Kamalkanth Shah and looted Rs 1.40 lakh cash and a laptop costing Rs 25,000 last night, police said here today.

Dr Shah and his family members were fast asleep when the incident occurred, sources added.
