US team meets CM

Hyderabad, Mar 30 (UNI) A delegation led by the Administrator for Environmental Protection in United States Stephen Johnson today called on state Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in the Assembly chambers.

Mr Johnson told Dr Reddy that he would be in Delhi soon to sign an MoU regarding environmental protection. India and the US would work together in producing safe potable water in future.

The Chief Minister informed the delegation about environmental protection measures taken up in the state particularly the regaining of the Kolleru sanctuary by reclaiming 77,000 acres, an official statement said.
