Tripura: Bus takes a plunge, 15 injured

Agartala, Mar 30: At least 15 persons were injured, nine of them seriously, when a bus fell into a gorge last night in Tripura's North district.

According to police, the bus lost its brakes while proceeding towards Kumarghat from Southern Assam's Silchar, fell in a deep gorge at Sidhangcherra.

Six seriously injured occupants shifted to District hospital in Kailshahar and three to Kumarghat. The remaining others, were, however, released after first aid.

The bus was seized.
