SAIL's Kiriburu mine credited ISO 9001 certification

Ranchi, Mar 30, (UNI) SAIL's Kiriburu iron ore mine of Jharkhand has been recommended for ISO 9001 quality management system creation by Bureau of Indian Standards, a company release said today.

ISO 9001 ensures the quality through stringent systematic process control. The certification is offered when a company streamlines the entire process linked to production with proper documentation.

The Kiriburu mines had earlier obtained ISO 14001 environment management system certification in June 2001, release added.
