Lucknow, Mar 30 (UNI) Rebel Samajwadi Party MP Beni Prasad Verma, who had recently formed Samajwadi Kranti Dal, today announced formation of an alliance with Nationalist Congress Party and Indian Justice Party.

The former Union minister's decision to form an alliance with NCP and IJP came only days after he formed his new party to challenge SP in Barabanki and Bahraich districts.

Verma told reporters here that his party, along with Sharad Pawar's NCP and Udit Raj's lesser known IJP, would contest on 150 to 200 seats. He said the finer details of seat sharing would be chalked out shortly.

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party has announced to field candidates against the Samajwadi Kranti Dal(SKD) nominees in different parts of the state.

Verma also reiterated his demand for an immediate dismissal of the Mulayam Singh Yadav government and imposition of President's rule.

He said only such a action would enable the people to get respite from a corrupt government.

Verma, however, refused to resign as MP saying if the party wants, it could take action against him.

Beni's son and state jail minister Rakesh Verma had already resigned from the state cabinet and from the membership of the state assembly.
