Opposition forces AP House adjournment over OBC quota issue
Hyderabad, Mar 30 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Assembly was adjourned today for sometime as the opposition stalled the proceedings over the OBC Quota issue.
The trouble started as soon as the Speaker K R Suresh Reddy disallowed the adjournment motions given notice of by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the Janata Party Member K Ramulu on the reservation for Other Backward Classes(OBCs) stayed by the Supreme Court.
The opposition party members were on their feet pressing for an immediate discussion on the quota issue which affected the future of large number of OBC students.
