One killed, two injured in fire

Chatra, Mar 30 (UNI) A five-year boy was killed and two were critically injured after fire broke out in a house at the Bara village in Jharkhand's Chatra district today.

Property worth about Rs 1 lakh was also destroyed.

Police said the fire erupted from a bundle of straw kept aside in the house of one Suresh Ram and killed his son Chotu on the spot.

His another son Aman (7) and nephew Rahul (6) were injured, police added.

The injured were admitted to Simaria referal hospital.
