Nitish greets people on Mahavir Jayanti

Patna, Mar 30 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today greeted the people on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti and exhorted them to maintain ''amity'' and ''brotherhood'' in deference to the ideology and principles propagated by the Lord Mahavira.

In his message, Mr Kumar said that truth, non-violence and tolerance--the three points of ideology propagated by Lord Mahavira was becoming more relevant with the passage of time and it could be solution to most of the sufferings faced by the mankind.

He called upon the people to dedicate themselves to the principles of ideology of Mahavir for development and prosperity.
