New housing project by ARDL at EM Bypass

Kolkata, Mar 30 (UNI) ''Upohar- The Condoville,'' the new housing project of Ambuja Realty Development Limited (ARDL), is coming up soon at EM Bypass here in a bid to provide affordable housing for people from all walks of life.

Spread over 19 acres of land at Chawkgaria, the project comprises well designed apartments for the different income groups namely LIG, MIG and HIG including provision of adequate level of community and social amenities for the residents.

Conceptualised by architect-visionary Balkrishna Doshi, the project not only complied with the requirements of the Environment Ministry and the State Pollution Control Board, but also incorporated a number of architectural features.

A large water body, huge green space and provision for extensive landscaping and planting of trees are the other salient features of the housing project.

The structural designs of the project are earthquake resistant and facilities have been created for providing treated water supply and creation of a sewerage treatment plant.

The project also intends to make a significant contribution through its Vocational Training Centre, the object of which is to create a pool of skilled labour to meet the growing needs of the community and industry.

The courses covering diverse fields would include mobile phones and computers.
