Mulayam on warpath, says will create trouble for Centre

Jhansi/Lalitpur, Mar 30 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today went on warpath against the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government, asserting he would not spare any given opportunity to create troubles for the Centre also.

Addressing election meetings in Jhansi and Lalitpur districts, Mr Yadav alleged, ''Usually, the Centre tries to corner state governments headed by Opposition parties, but the present incumbent led by Congress has breached every limit.'' ''The opposition may go to any extent pursuing their conspiracy against me, but Mulayam Singh cannot be finished off, because hundreds of Mulayam Singhs have already been nurtured in our party.'' ''We are descendents of Lord Krishna. He did what He said,'' Mr Yadav observed.

Referring to the CBI probe against him, Mr Yadav claimed that Congress, BSP and BJP first tried to dismiss his government for three years and when they failed, a conspiracy was hatched against him.

Mr Yadav said the investigation had been ordered to ascertain the authenticity of charges levelled on him and his family.

Training guns on Congress, he asserted the party was losing base in every state.

''Congress is already a spent force in Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Punjab and West Bengal. Soon Delhi and Haryana will also fall from their lap. Ironically, such a weak outfit is conspiring against the SP government,'' the former Defence Minister said.

Mr Yadav asserted the times ahead belong to SP and his regime had not done anything wrong to merit removal from the helm.
