Modi to address election rallies in UP

New Delhi, Mar 30 (UNI) Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will campaign for the BJP for two days from April 2 in the coming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

BJP Spokesman Prakash Javadekar said Mr Modi, ''accepted as a 'model Chief Minister' after having implemented various developmental programmes in letter and spirit in Gujarat, would showcase his state before the people of Uttar Pradesh which badly needed development.'' Mr Modi will be addressing meetings at Phoolbagh and Kidwai Nagar Chowk in Kanpur on April 2 evening. On April 3, he will address election rallies at Agra and Mathura towns.
