Metal prices remain steady

Mumbai, Mar 30 (UNI) Metal prices remained steady on moderate demand, traders at the Bombay Metal Exchange (BME) today said.

Following are the spot metal prices per quintal: Ferrous metals: Copper heavy - Rs 33,100, Copper utensils - Rs 30,700, Brass utensils - Rs 24,500, Brass cuttings - Rs 25,800 and Aluminium utensils - Rs 11,800.

Non-ferrous metals: Copper wire bars - Rs 36,400, Aluminium ingots - Rs 14,000, Zinc slab Rs 18,100, Lead ingots - Rs 9,100, Tin slab - Rs 750 (per kg) and Nickel cathode - Rs 2,220 (per kg).
