MCD seals 26 units on third day of sealing drive

New Delhi, Mar 30 (UNI) In its drive to seal units running in violation of the 2021 Master Plan, the MCD today put to seal 26 units in South and Civil lines zones.

On the third day of the drive, 12 shops were sealed in Civil Lines, three in Krishna Nagar and 11 on Geetanjali road in the South zone, an MCD spokesperson said.

With today's sealing, the total number of shops sealed since Wednesday rose to 127.

Under the sealing scanner are shops in notified areas operating in violation of norms laid down by the 2021 Master Plan of Delhi.
