Life imprisonment to person in murder case

Davanagere, Karnataka, Mar 30 (UNI) A lower court has convicted and sentenced to life imprisonment a person in connection with a murder case.

Davanagere District and Sessions Judge Siddalingesh, delivering the order yesterday, also imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on the guilty, Ravi.

According to the prosecution, Ravi had killed one Hanumanthappa due to old enmity on September 17, 2005, near Santhebennur in Chennagiri taluk. Chennagiri police had filed the charge sheet in the case.
