Governor S M Krishna's message on Mahavir Jayanti

Mumbai, Mar30 (UNI) Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna, on the eve of Mahavir Jayanti, has conveyed his heartiest greetings to the people of the state.

In his message, the Governor said, '' Mahavir Jayanti reminds us of the eternal values of love, ahimsa and respect for all living beings, preached and practiced by Lord Mahavir all his life.'' ''May the life of Lord Mahavir continue to inspire people to tread the path of truth and non-violence with steadfastness and determination'', said a Raj Bhavan release here today.
