Governor greets people on Mahavir Jayanti

Mumbai, Mar 30 (UNI) The Governor of Maharashtra S M Krishna has greeted the people on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti.

In his message, the Governor said ''Mahavir Jayanti reminds us of the eternal values of love, ahimsa and respect for all living beings, preached and practiced by Lord Mahavir all his life. May the life of Lord Mahavir continue to inspire people to tread the path of truth and non-violence with steadfastness and determination,'' an official release here said today.
