Four gunned down

Jhansi, Mar 30 (UNI) Heavily-armed assailants today gunned down four people, including three of a family, near Badagaon gate in Kotwali area here.

The incident took place around 1330 hours, when assailants, onboard two sports utility vehicles (SUVs) and two motorcyles, stopped at a shop where the two people, Arvind and Devendra Yadav, were chatting and opened an indiscriminate fire on them, killing three on the spot, the police said.

While returning, the miscreants spotted one Ashok Pradhan and also shot him, police added.

Those injured, Surendra and Brijendra, were admitted to a hospital.

Meanwhile, police have lodged an FIR.

Personal enmity was said to the reason behind the incident, the police said, adding the investigations were on.
