Five Hindus gunned down in J
Jammu, Mar 30 (UNI) At least five Hindus were killed and three injured when militants opened fire at a labour camp in the border district of Jammu and Kashmir last night, official sources said here today.
The Inspector General of Police S P Vaid told UNI the incident took place at 2230 hours when four militants of an unidentified outfit raided a worker's camp in Banglar area under Dharshal police station, about 160 km from here. Five road construction workers were killed on the spot and three others were wounded, while three managed to escape to a nereby army camp.
Condemning the incident, Dr Vaid said a police party headed by Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) is trying to trace the culprits.
