College Principal dies at exam centre

Bijapur, Mar 30 (UNI) A pre-university college principal died of a massive cardiac arrest while on duty as the Chief Conductor of the ongoing PU examinations, here.

V B Darbar PU College Principal Gopalkrishnachar Shrinivasacharya Jalihal (53) collapsed at the exam centre yesterday and was rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead.

A native of Dharwad, he had joined the college as a Professor in 1976 and was promoted as Principal last year.
