BoB to continue Dravid as brand ambassador

New Delhi, Mar 30 (UNI) Even after a fiasco at the cricket World Cup 2007, captain Rahul Dravid will continue to be the face of Bank of Baroda (BoB), 'India's International Bank.' Oozing confidence on the Indian skipper, the bank today said it will carry on its association with him.

''We continue to be solidarily behind him. We don't drop customers, brand ambassadors in situations when they are not able to perform well,'' Bank Chairman and Managing Director Anil K Khandelwal told reporters here.

BoB will be with Mr Dependable amid speculations of him being stripped off his captainship.

''We took him when he was not a captain,'' Mr Khandelwal said adding that one unsuccessful experience can not write off Rahul 'Wall' Dravid.

Immediately after the Indian cricket team could not make up to the super 8 in the World Cup, companies are reconsidering their contracts with celebrities. Many have even stopped their world cup campaigns in between.
