Bijapur records the highest maximum temperature of 40.5 deg.celsisus

Bangalore, Mar 30 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Dry weather prevailed over the State.

Maximum temperatures rose at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at many places over Interior Karnataka.

Bijapur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.5 degree celsius over the State.

Minimum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.

Belgaum AP recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 19.4 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Sunday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over Coastal Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Gadag, Belgaum, Dharwad, Chitradurga, Hassan, Davanagere districts. Mainly dry weather may prevail over remaining districts of the State.

Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Maximum and Minimum temperature would be around 34 degree celsius and 21 degree celsius respectively.
