bank receives bomb threat

Surat, Mar 30 (UNI) The Branch office of Saraswat Bank in Varachcha was today evacuated following a Bomb Hoax call, police sources said.

According to police sources, the bank manager received an anonymous call, saying that a bomb had been planted in the building and it would explode soon.

The bank manager informed the police and the building was immediately evacuated, the sources said.

A police team from Varachcha police station conducted a search in the bank, but nothing was found, the sources added.
