Young Pak Parliamentarians seek easy visa between two nations

New Delhi, Mar 29 (UNI) A delegation of young Parliamentarian from Pakistan today called for easy movement of people between India and Pakistan and urged the two countries to liberalise visa norms.

The young Pakistani parliamentarians expressed their desired when they called on Deputy Lok Sabha Speaker Charnjit Singh Atwal. The nine-member delegation included two women MPs.

Observing the peoples of Pakistan and India had "only the feelings of warmth and love towards each other, the delegation suggested that a Joint Group, consisting of young parliamentarians of both the countries, should be constituted, for taking forward the existing cordial and friendly relations.

Frequent exchanges of visits of delegations and students from both the countries also came up for discussion during the meeting.

Earlier, welcoming the delegation, Mr Atwal said India always wanted to have friendly bilateral relations with Pakistan in all fields. He said there was a great scope to enhance cooperation in trade and commerce between the two neighbouring countries. He also stressed the need for increased people-to-people contacts between India and Pakistan.
