Guwahati, Mat 29 (UNI) A seminar on ''National Cooperation Dialogue for Development of a Policy for Equitable Access to Justice in the North Eastern Region,'' organized under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority, will be held here on March 31.

Justices of Supreme Court Ashok Bhan and H K Sema, acting Chief Justice of Guwahati High Court Justice D Biswash, who is also the patrol in chief of the Asom wing of the Legal Services Authority and Chief Justice of Delhi High Court Justice M K Sharma are likely to attend the seminar.

Apart from the justices, eminent writer, social activist and reformers Dr Mamoni Raisom Goswami will also be addressing the seminar, sources here said.

Gender justice, protection of child rights and protection of hill tribes, plantation workers and marginalized forest fringe population are the issues that will be deliberated upon and notable champions from the concerned fields will be addressing the respective sessions.

Guwahati High Court Legal Services committee chairman Justice A Roy will also address the concluding function, it said.
